Came upon this in the outdoor part of the market, heading towards the Chalk Farm end.

happy xmas
This was outside Old Street station in Decemer. They are coloured plastic cups stuffed into the fence. There's a different message there now.

mystery solved
So this is what happened to all the stickers? I wonder if stickerthing should buy a van and put "the Pro-Graffiti Company Ltd" on the side. Just to balance the scales a bit.

Granada style
Muchos gracias to FreddieG, unsolicited roving reporter for stickerthing, picking up some interesting stuff on his hols in Granada. There were a lot of political slogans and anti-Bush sentiment on the walls but also some interesting stencil work and cute little jokes like these escaping children. Fred says around every corner you kept coming across one or other of these children dashing off to who knows where.

Unite!
I'm always keen on sanctioned "street art" - here we are in Chemnitz (formerly Karl Marx Stadt) with the largest free-standing bust in the world, in front of a massive wall plaque which reads in a number of languages: "Working men of all countries unite!"
Now that's what I call Graffiti 1917-stylee.
In the very left-corner you can see the entrance to a night-club called Kapital - run by one of the Raster-Noton bods (whose headquarters, as you all know, are based in this dorp).
