the walls have eyes

Went on a wander recently in a bit of a no-mans land behind the Chinese embassy and found a bear enclosure-to my disgust, and this piece of ex-wall, to my delight. They also had this cool listening post with recordings relating to the wall. One was of souvenier hunters chipping away with hammers- the sweet sound of commercial instinct.
